Louis Saad

SAAD, Louis Robert - age 79, of Hartland, died peacefully at home August 25, 2021. Private services will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Louis was born February 7, 1942 in Detroit, the son of Louis H. and Mary Ann (Yazback) Saad. He graduated from St. Martin’s in Detroit and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Louis married Kathleen Beckers on November 9, 1963 in Bay City. He retired from Hudson's as a salesman and enjoyed his retirement years welcoming shoppers as a store greeter. He was a parishioner of St. John Catholic Church. Louis is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; five daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Spears, Victoria (Daniel) Szymanski, Laura (David) Nystrom, Stephanie (Jeffrey) Smith, and Amanda (Ryan) Sullivan; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Harvey, Chorbishop Richard, and Ronald along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Louis and Mary Saad; and brother, Roger Saad. Lou was known for his love of spending time with family, his quick wit and great sense of humor. He will be missed by many. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
