Louis Richard Lacina

LACINA, Louis Richard -- Age 85, of Genesee Township, died June 26, 2024. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday June 29 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Jerry Pruett officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday, June 28; and 12 PM until time of the funeral at 1 PM Saturday, June 29 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to World Outreach Center, 2275 N. Irish Road, Davison Michigan 48423 or Alzheimer's Association. 

Louis was born October 19, 1938 in Flint the son of Louis and Lillian (Ligus) Lacina. He was a graduate of Bendle High School. He married Gladys Marie Leary on May 10, 1973. Louis served in the Michigan National Guard. He retired from General Motors after 38 years of service working in Grand Blanc. He was a member of the World Outreach Center, and the Grand Blanc Moose Lodge. Louis enjoyed golfing in his retirement, he was a avid hunter and loved a good game of pool. 

He is survived by his wife, of 51 years, Gladys Marie Lacina; 2 children, Tracey Lacina, Richard (Melanie) Lacina; nine grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Marilyn Littlepage; son, James Littlepage; and brother, Robert Lacina.
