WOODMAN, Lorraine D., "Lorrie" (Rydzewski) - Age 79, of Fenton formerly of Detroit, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at home. Funeral Mass will be 11AM Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 6481 Faussett Rd., Howell, with her nephew, Fr. Paul Czarnota as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-9PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A rosary will be prayed 7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Masses in Lorrie's memory. Lorrie was born February 15, 1930 in Hamtramck, the daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Kubiak) Rydzewski. She was a 1948 graduate at High School of Commerce and on August 19, 1950 married Raymond Woodman in Hamtramck. Lorrie was previously employed at Dupont Paint, Kitts Surplus Sales and lastly, as an office manager for Fenton Glass. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and cross-stitching. Lorrie was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Ray; 3 children, Kenneth (Marilyn) Woodman of Canton, Cheryl (Richard) Latinen of Fenton, Robert (Patricia) Woodman of Redford; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice (John) Czarnota of Clinton Twp.; brother, Stanley (Arlene) Rydzewski of Macomb Twp.; and several nieces and nephews.
