Lorraine Townley

TOWNLEY, Lorraine Katherine - Age 92, of Fenton, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, July 25 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 East Broad St., Linden. Interment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Friday, and 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Reverence Hospice. Lorraine was born December 9, 1922 in Remus, the daughter of Valentine and Mary (Eldred) Bott. She married Russell Townley on September 8, 1945 in Flint; he preceded her in death on June 10, 1999. Lorraine is survived by her children, Robert (Jeannine) of Grand Blanc, Thomas of Paulding, OH, Michael of Flint, Frederick (Ellen) of Paulding, OH, and Deborah Townley of Fenton; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sisters, Arlene Sumner, Lucille Kwater, Nila Gaudard; sister-in-law, Jean Ranger; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Ben Snook and Mike Fayfer. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Tim; and brothers, Jack, Harry, and Richard Bott; daughters-in-law, Alyse and Eva.
