Lorraine Virginia LOOMAN

LOOMAN, Lorraine Virginia, age 82, of Grand Rapids, died Tuesday, January 2, 2008 in Linden. Services will be 11 AM Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Ravenna Baptist Church, 3186 Blackmer Rd., Ravenna. Pastor Mark Looman officiating. Following services, friends are invited to join the family at church for a luncheon. Contributions may be made to the Tiffany Kunnen Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Lorraine was born July 27, 1925 in Grand Rapids the the daughter of Mortimer Olmsted and Glenna (Hynes) Hall. She married Kenneth Harry Looman in Grand Rapids on June 18, 1948 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2003. Lorraine was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hart. She was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children. She was active in every phase of their lives; school, extracurricular activities and church. She was loved dearly and will be missed very much. Surviving are her son, Pastor Mark Looman (Dorothy) of Hart; daughter Holly Kunnen (John) of Linden; son, Scott Looman (Tammy) of Grand Rapids; 9 grandchildren, Amy Douglas (Mark) Hollie (Shawn) Hunt, Jessica Kunnen, Nicholas, Kevin, Eric, Adam, Kelly, Katelyn Looman.
