JULY, Lorne R. - Age 78, of Burton, died Sunday, November 19, 2017. No services will be held. Lorne was born April 25, 1939 in Flint, the son of Frank and Margaret (Wilson) July. He married Norma Jean Carrell March 10, 1956 in Flint. He retired in 1991 from AC Spark Plug after 34 years of service. He had resided in the Burton area most of his life. Lorne was a member of the PLAV Pulaski Post #8 and the Grand Blanc Moose Lodge #2344. Surviving are: his wife of 61 years, Norma; 5 children, Doug (Pam) July of Grand Blanc, Keith (Sandy) July of Charlotte, Teresa (Curtis) Pennell of Munger, Lorne (Kim) July of Avoca, and Carla Bedore of Burton; 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; siblings, Diane Ivy of Grand Blanc, Robert (Becky) July of Otisville, and Debra Kidd of Burton; and several nieces and nephews.
