WRIGHT, Loretta Laverne - Age 82, of Holly, died Sunday, July 20, 2014. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 5-9 PM and Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Old Newsboys or Hospice Advantage. Loretta was born January 6, 1932 in Ravenden, AR the daughter of Sam and Beckie (DuBois) Ehrhardt. She married Kenneth Gordon Wright May 27, 1950 and he preceded her in death August 16, 2000. She had resided in Flushing for the past 2 years coming from Holly. She had been employed by Fisher Body Ternsted. Loretta was a avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings. and Nascar. She enjoyed deer hunting, puzzles, sewing, gardening, and reading, but most of all she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are: 2 sons, Danny K. and wife Ruth Wright of Flint and David S. and wife Brenda Wright of Flushing; 5 grandchildren, Russell Dean of Gwinn, Jeff Wright of Royal Oak, Josh and wife Erica Wright of Flint, Sara and husband Joe Kirkwood of North Carolina, and Julie Freiheit and Troy Wright of Flushing; 7 great grandchildren, Jacob, Jonathan, Sam, Hannah, Mason, Kenny, and Kaytlynn; sisters, Glenda Slaughter, Lil Huffman, Geraldine McIntosh, and Wanda and husband Don Johnson; brother, Don and wife Dana Ehrhardt; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: son, Kennth R. Wright; daughter, Ann Brazelton; 3 sisters, Opal Boze, Joanne Bryant, and Vida Stovall; brother, Roscoe Ehrhardt.
