Loretta Hazel PATTERSON

PATTERSON , Loretta Hazel - Age 95, of Owosso and Glennie, died January 30, 2014 at Fostrian Manor in Flushing. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Monday February 3 at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, Chaplain Don Bennett officiating. Interment in West Haven Cemetery, New Haven Township MI. Visitation will be 3-4 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Loretta was born August 11, 1918 in Owosso the daughter of Roy and Sarah (Totem) Luft and was a graduate of Owosso High School. She was married to William O. Patterson and he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a member of the Lott Baptist Church in Glennie. She enjoyed crocheting. Loretta was a Breast Cancer Survivor. Surviving are: daughter Mary and husband Wayne McKenzie of Corunna; son William and wife Linda Patterson of Swartz Creek; brother Roy and wife Nancy Luft of Owosso; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; and sister Maxine. The family extends a special thanks to Fostrian Manor of Flushing and Gentiva Hospice.
