Loraine Lohaus

LOHAUS, Loraine Rita - age 84, of Linden, died August 16, 2020. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, August 20, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Fr. Ryan Riley celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 11 AM Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Loraine was born November 2, 1935 in Detroit, the daughter of Frederick and Anna (Klaes) Bloink. She married John A. Lohaus on May 21, 1960 and he preceded her in death on January 10, 1999. She was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church volunteering both at the parish and the parish school. She was a former member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Loraine was an avid gardener and enjoyed quilting and porcelain dolls. Surviving are: daughter, Agnes (James) Skrzycki of Farmington; son, John Lohaus of Linden; four grandchildren, Amanda (Nathan) Skrzycki-Cisneros, Vincent Skrzycki, Catherine (Cameron) Skrzycki, Johnelle Lohaus; two great-grandchildren, Nolan Gray and Remi Lorraine Hill; sister, Katie Cook.
