Lora Maguffee

MAGUFFEE, Lora  Age 86, of Flint, died Saturday, July 2, 2005 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Tom Knight officiating. Visitation will be held 1-4 and 6-8 Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Avalon Hospice. Mrs. Maguffee was born October 22, 1918 in Puxico, MO, the daughter of William and Zora (Willfong) Westbrook. She married Allen Maguffee in Indiana on August 27, 1938 and he preceded her in death on October 11, 1991. Mrs. Maguffee was a member of Faith Missionary Church. Surviving are: son, Russell Eugene Maguffee of Flint; daughter, Marsha (Truman) Hildreth of Flushing; four grandchildren, Steven Speer, Edward (Robin) Speer, Todd Hildreth, Sabrina (Jeff) Elledge; two great-grandchildren.
