Lona Bessie Hall

Hall, Lona Bessie- Age 97, of Fenton. died Sunday, November 16, 2003 at Crestmont Nursing Care Center.  Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at Sharp Funeral Homes; Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden.  Pastor Lawrence Gill officiating.  Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Linden.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1-4 and 6-9PM Tuesday.  Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of ones choice.  Mrs. Hall was born November 14, 1906 in Gainsboro, TN, the daughter of Lawrence and Nancy (Chaffin) Birdwell.  She married Oscar Hall November 1, 1923 in Detroit and he preceded her in death May 27, 1975.  She had resided in the Fenton area since 1945, coming from Garden City.  She was a former member of the Fenton Church of Christ.  Surviving are: son, William and wife Linda Hall of Linden; daughter, Bonnie and husband Derwin Jones of Lewiston; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by her son, James O.
