Lois Smith

SMITH, Lois Mae- age 82, of Swartz Creek, died March 16,2018. Services will be held 5PM Monday, March 19, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 3PM until time of service. Interment 3PM Tuesday. March 20, 2018 at Greenwood Cemetery, Vernon. Contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek or Shriners. Lois was born May 16,1935 in Middlesboro, KY, the daughter of Charlie Solomon Turner and Lena Mae (Hensley) Turner. She married Lacy Hall "Smitty" Smith in Flint on August 5,1966. He preceded her in death on March 16,2001. She was a Homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Swartz Creek. Surviving are: sister,Irene (Don) Vale; special friends, John and Nancy King, Jerry and Jennifer Mathis and family, Brent and Vanessa Fader and family, and Major John E. King Jr.; her beloved Yorkie 'Bear"; special thanks to Lois' caregivers, Sue, Cathy, DeAnne, Lark, and Medical Team Hospice.
