Lois LaMothe

LaMOTHE, Lois Ann -- died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Caretel Inn of Linden. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Rev. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. The family will receive friends 6-9 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM. The family will also receive friends from 10 AM until the time of the mass at the church on Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Childrens Leukemia Foundation. Lois was born August 1, 1940 in Wyandotte, MI. Lois was a graduate of Roosevelt Wyandotte High School and attended Northern Michigan University. Lois married Michael P. LaMothe on November 9, 1963 in Munising, MI. Lois resided in the area for 37 years. Lois was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton, was an avid bowler, and enjoyed reading and traveling. Surviving are: husband Michael P. LaMothe; daughter, Lauretta A. LaMothe-Sciortino, husband Joe, and children Nathin and Gabrielle; son Daniel E. LaMothe, wife Tracy, and daughters Ella and Anna. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin T. and Myrtle M.
