Lois Hilda Inman

INMAN, Lois Hilda (Menne) - Age 90, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473.  Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday where a rosary service will be held at 6:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. On Tuesday morning, Lois will be taken to church to lie in state from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.

Lois was born on May 27, 1933 in Flint, the daughter of the late John and Hilda (Janke) Menne. She graduated from Goodrich High School, class of 1951. Lois was united in marriage to Alan W. Inman on December 29, 1951 in Davison. Sadly, he preceded her in death on October 31, 2021. She worked many years for the Flint Board of Education as a custodian and lastly for the Head Start until her retirement. Lois was a former member at St. Pius X Catholic Church until she joined St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. In her free time, Lois enjoyed gardening and birds. 

She is survived by her loving children, Alan S., Kathleen Bailey, Linda (Jason) El-Zein, John and Thomas; 5 grandchildren, Kyle Bailey, Rebecca Bailey, Andrew Bailey, Nadia (Jacob) Tonova, Michael (Stefanie) El-Zein; 11 great grandchildren, Domyneque Bailey, Karlynn McKenzie, Caleb Bailey, Kyler Bailey, Morgan Sheldon, Hannah Bailey, Zane Tonova, Lila Tonova, Vera Tonova, Sibylle Bailey, Liliana El-Zein; great great grandchild, Lexie Flood; sisters, Rosella Eldridge and Jeannette Kraus; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.  

In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacklyn; and siblings, Virginia, Ilene, Wayne, Jacqueline, Frank and Michael. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
