Lois Callard

CALLARD, Lois Jean (Anderson) - Age 83, of Fenton, died November 18, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday. Lois was born May 26, 1933 in Detroit, the daughter of Harold and Hally (Beauregard) Cameron. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a bookkeeper at Security First Insurance. She was married to Roger Anderson on July 7, 1953; he preceded her in death on April 13, 1974. She then married John (Welcome) Callard on August 27, 1976 and he preceded her in death on March 17, 1977. Mrs. Callard was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and Fenton VFW Post #3243 Women's Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Roger (Patsy) Anderson, Kathy (Joe Fox) Anderson, Chris (Donna) Anderson, Michelle (Randy) Austin, Dawn (Jeff) Konarske; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Lori Cameron (Sandy); several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Opal, Lillian, Alberta and Maxine; long time companion, Yves Bothorel. Lois enjoyed reading, listening to country music and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and mischievous playfulness.
