Lloyd Duane Brown

BROWN, Lloyd Duane - age 76, of Flint, died Friday, December 15, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Brant Engle officiating. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 8 PM Monday and 9 AM until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mr. Brown was born January 25, 1920 in Flint, the son of Winthrop Roy and Anna Jane (Willis) Brown. He married Joyce A. Hendershott and she preceded him in death on October 19, 2006. Mr. Brown retired from General Motors after 39 years of service in Skilled Trades as a Welder Repairman. He was a lifetime member of the Flint Bowmen and a member of the Fenton Moose Lodge #430. Surviving are: 5 children, Deborah and husband Larry Walter of Flint, Stephen Brown of Marion, MI, Scott Brown of Flint, Deanna Earegood of Flint, Bethany and husband Bob Bruce of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Frank (Traci) French, Stephen Brown, Tiffany Brown, Rebecca (Shawn) Block, Amy and Jacob Earegood, Emily, Kelly and Collin Bruce; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Alfred (Mary) Brown of TX, Howard (Darlene) Brown of Flint. He was also preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Leroy; sister, Jean; infant daughter, Lori; granddaughter, Christie.
