Lloyd Austin

AUSTIN, Lloyd W. - Age 85, of Fenton, formerly of Lansing, died September 21, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Friday, October 4 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Mid-Michigan Medical Center.  Lloyd was born April 11, 1934 in Lansing, the son of Ray and Amy (Moore) Austin. He married Dawn E. Shreve on May 9, 1953 and she preceded him in death on February 2, 2003. Lloyd retired from General Motors in 1997. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping, and bow hunting. Surviving are: five children,  Larry (Karen) Austin of Houghton Lake, Robert (Debra) Austin of Ohio, Randy Austin of Florida, Russell (Carol) Austin of Lansing, and Laurie (Todd) Bradley of Bath; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and companion, Connie Bonardelli.  Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
