Lisa Kay Stuart

STUART, Lisa Kay - Age 66, of Swartz Creek, passed away June 29, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, July 29, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Sunday, July 28, 2024. Those desiring may make contributions Cleveland Clinic or Valley Area agency on Aging.

Lisa was born June 23, 1958 in Flint, the daughter of Harold and Sarah (Hedrick) Balzer and was a graduate of Durand High School. She worked as a Lab Technician for Nu Vision until 1996.

Lisa was a loving soul who spread joy wherever she went. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren (she loved being Oma), and cherished every moment with them. Her trips to Las Vegas with her sister and casino nights with loved ones were just a few ways she showed her love for life. She also loved to go up north to go camping, surrounded by nature and the peace that came with it. With a heart full of kindness, Lisa wrapped everyone in her warm embrace, making them feel seen and loved. She touched the hearts of many.

Lisa is survived by her daughter, Keisha (Dimas) Hernandez; grandchildren, Dominic (Ky'Esha Jones) Webb and Felicity Balzer; great-grandchildren, Nico and Dimitri Webb; grandkids by heart, Magdalena and Mason;

sisters, Vicki (Ron) Johnson, Tina (Greg) Witters, Tamara Balzer (Joe Rogoz), Brothers, William (Debbie) Balzer, Harlen Balzer and John Balzer; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie Stuart; daughter by choice, Jennifer; grandson by choice, Marshall; siblings, Harold Balzer, Catherine Smith, Patricia Veal, Cindy Balzer and Susie Johnson and Bethany Jordan
