Linda Turner

Linda R. Turner, age 73, of Flint, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 5PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, 8138 Miller Road,  Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 starting at 3PM until 5PM at Sharp Funeral Home in Swartz Creek. Tributes  can be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.

Linda was born on April 26, 1949 in Flint, Michigan to the late Samuel (Sophia) Zimmer. Linda married the love of her life David, on April 23, 1976. Linda was a member to Mount Hope Church in grand Blanc. She was an active volunteer to her church as well as the police department.  She was a school crossing guard.  In earlier years Linda and David enjoyed traveling and camping. Linda was a kind hearted woman who adored all animals, especially cats and her dog, Rider.  Linda loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, David; two daughters, Lisa Dove and Melissa (Bruce) Merrill; her grandchildren, Brandon and Faith Jamerson and her sister, Carol (Richard) Shinebarger. Linda is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other dear family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Samuel (Sophia) Zimmer she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Dailey (Gwendolyn) Turner.
