TAYLOR, Linda Mary passed away on June 2, 2020 at the age of 70 in her home surrounded by loved ones. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Linda was born on March 8, 1950, at Owosso Memorial Hospital. She attended Swartz Creek High School where she met the love of her life. She was a loving wife and best friend to Bernard Taylor for 49 years. Linda and her husband could often be seen at community concerts or sporting events and enjoyed vacationing together, as well as devoting much time to family. They have been members of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. Linda is survived by her 3 sons Jeffrey (Rebeka), Matthew (Amy), & Daniel (Sarah); as well as 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister Cheryl (Michael) Martin, several loving in-laws, as well as many nieces and nephews. Her competitive spirit will be a legacy her grandchildren will forever cherish. She taught them to fight for what you want and believe in.
Forever remembered, she lives on in the many lives that she touched. Everyone loved Linda. How could you not? As a Registered Nurse of 42 years, whether it be at Flint Osteopathic Hospital or Genesys Regional Medical Center, she gave the utmost care to all that she came in contact with along the way. She had a strong competitive spirit, that served her well up until the very end. All her racquetball opponents and card playing friends that she annihilated over the years, could attest to that. Linda’s left this earth to be reunited with her parents Roy and Connie Taylor in heaven. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that any donations be made to Stand Up To Cancer (standuptocancer.org). She was a valiant warrior in her battle, that left all of us in awe.
