Linda was born March 19, 1935 in Fenton. The most important and defining parts of her rich and varied life included creative pursuits, theater, travel, art, education, women's rights, human rights, equality and independence. Her love of family was constant, she took her role of Aunt seriously, venturing to take us skiing, to drive-in movies, and teaching us folk songs while recording our voices on cassette tapes. Many recall visiting her room and studio on Dauner Road which reflected her creative spirit, filled with books, art, original pottery she created on her pottery wheel and the walls adorned with hundreds of newspaper clippings of the many Schupbach, Freeman, Harris children that she so clearly loved. She encouraged many of us to explore Shakespeare, theater and the arts. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University, 1957 and continued her education at University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Union College, Schenectady New York. She had a multifaceted career practicing occupational therapy, dental hygiene, bank teller, and foam manufacturing. She chronicled her life, leaving behind photo albums that rival any expert scrapbook artist!  She leaves behind fond memories shared by the hundreds of nieces, nephews, family and friends and will be remembered through cherished stories that will live on in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her sister Marcia (Schupbach) William Freeman and brother, Maynard (Cassie) Schupbach. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Fenton Charles Schupbach, Donald Schupbach, Curtis (Lillian) Schupbach, Harold (Mary) Schupbach, Marian (Harry) Harris, Elmer (Joyce) Schupbach, Melvin (Marilyn) Schupbach.
