Linda Lee Savage

SAVAGE, Linda Lee - Age 79, of Linden, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, January 8, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Leroy St., Fenton.  Pastor Robbie Carnes officiating.  Burial 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Troy.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Sunday from 4-8 PM and at church Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to First Presbyterian Church of Fenton.  

Linda was born August 12, 1944 in Detroit, the daughter of Walter Richard and Mildred Aletha (Elliott) Baird.  She was a 1962 graduate of Pontiac Central High School.  She married James Wesley Savage October 6, 1962 in Pontiac.  She had resided in Linden for the past 10 years coming from Hartland.  Linda was a seamstress.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, where she was a Deacon.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  

Surviving are: her husband, James; children, Kimberly (Cheryl) Savage of Haslett, James R. (Donna) Savage of Gaines, Karen Savage of Alpena and Tracie (Jeff) Hovarter of Wixom; grandchildren, Mikaille (Terry), Kyle, Madison (Travis), Tristen, Shaun, Kaydence, Andrew and Quinn; great grandchildren, Danilee Rose and Graeme; siblings, Sandra Baird of Waterford, William (Dinah) Baird of Ohio, Barbara (Jim) Bowden of Arizona and Patricia (Tim) Dooley of St. Clair; and several nieces and nephews.
