Linda Partlo

PARTLO, Linda Jane- Age 64, of Swartz Creek, became an angel Friday, May 29, 2015 Linda was born August 20, 1950 in Flint, the daughter of Erwin and Ella (Bigelow) Partlo. Linda was employed with General Motors for 13 years. She resided in the Swartz Creek area for most of her life. Linda proudly received her Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University Of Michigan Flint. She was an involved, supportive, and dedicated single parent who enjoyed flower gardens, and puzzles. Linda always had a kind and generous heart, sarcastic wit, and the ability to see the good in others. She was the first to help those in need. Linda loved to sing, run through the sprinkler with her Granddaughter, and enjoyed the performing arts with her family. Linda is happy and healthy again in the arms of the Father and surrounded by her family in Heaven. She is survived by daughter, Stacy (Steven) Buckner of Lansing; granddaughter, Hanah (age 7); sister, Patty (Ward) Boyer; brother, John (Laura) Partlo; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Linda's daughter extends a special thank you to the caring and passionate family at Capital Area Health and Rehab at 2100 Provincial House Drive, Lansing, MI 48910. They made her last year remarkable. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the above address. There will be no funeral services. A memorial gathering for extended family and friends will be planned for the end of the summer.
