HUNTER, Linda 'Diane' - age 59, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, August 7, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton with Rev. Fr. David W. Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-3 and 5-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Wednesday evening. Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army. Diane was born September 11, 1948 in Flint, the daughter of Wally S. and Glovis (Fogette) Hunter. Diane was a graduate of Flint Northwestern High School and retired from Delphi (A.C. Spark Plug). She was a member of U.A.W. Local 651 and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Surviving are: mother, Glovis Hunter of Swartz Creek; six siblings, Janet Michalik and husband, John of Swartz Creek, Denise Hunter of Fenton, David Hunter and wife, Lauren of Fenton, Gregory Hunter of Swartz Creek; Patricia Jircik and husband, Jimmie of TX, Rose Scholl of Grand Blanc; special Godson, Derek Mienkwic of Flint; nieces and nephews, Susanne, Robert, Blake, Charlie, Brad, Jess, Breanna, and Katelyn; many close friends.
