Linda Bailey

BAILEY, Linda Lou (Thompson) - Age 78, of Flint, died Thursday, June 4, 2020. Cremation has taken place. Private interment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.

Linda was born on January 1, 1942, in Charleston, MO, the daughter of Lenard and Dorothy (Byrd) Thompson. She and Billy Bailey were united in marriage on November 26, 1958 in Charleston, MO. Linda worked for 35 years at Kroger's Grocery Store. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by 3 children, David (Heather) Bailey, Dawn Black (Gary Gell), Gregory Bailey (Kim Coalson); special friend who was like a daughter, Linda Stevens; seven grandchildren, Dan (Jennifer) Black, Max Black (Danielle Comerford), Nick (Erin) Black, Montana Bailey, Lela Bailey, Clayton Ross, Andre Sellers; great-grandchildren, Shane Church, Liam Black, Adelynn Black and Audrey Black; 2 sisters, Darlene Matthews and Shirley Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
