ALMOND, Linda Ann (Hoffman) -- Age 50, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, May 14, 2004 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Sunday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Linda Ann Almond Memorial Fund. Linda was born September 15, 1953 in Flint the daughter of Delbert and Gladys (Butterfield) Hoffman, and had lived in Fenton and Grand Blanc most of her life. She married Thomas E. Almond in Fenton in 1981. Linda was a 1973 graduate of Lake Fenton High School, and was active with the Easter Seals Ceramic Programs. Surviving are: husband, Thomas; mother, Gladys Hoffman of Fenton; 5 sisters, Carol Austin (Jerry) of Fenton, Helen Poinsett (Scott) of Grand Blanc, Dolly Patterson (George) of Linden, Betty Timbs (James) of Linden, Sally Jacobs (Mark) of Fenton; 2 brothers, Douglas Hoffman (Janet) of Linden, Frank Hoffman (Sherry) of Fenton; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles; and Tabby too. She was preceded in death by her father, Delbert; daughter, Rebecca; and brother, David.
