Lillian Grubbs

GRUBBS, Lillian - Age 87, of Rankin, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc (A live stream of the service will be available on Lillian's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com).  Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 4-7 PM and Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.  Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of your choice.

Lillian was born January 27, 1935 in Flint, the daughter of the late Douglas and Mary (Cairnduff) Anderson.  She grew up in Flint and was a graduate of Flint Northern High School. She married William Ray Grubbs August 13, 1955 in Flint.  LiIlian was a homemaker who focused on caring for her family, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was the center of their world. During her healthier years, she enjoyed golfing, fishing, and attending her children and grandchildren's sporting events.

Surviving are: her husband of 67 years, Bill; daughter, Judy (Fred) Giese of East Amherst, NY; son-in-law, Alex Ljiljak of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Mary Urban, Anne (Travis) Bendall, Katie (Matt) Pulido, Ryan (Alaina) Kovel, Lindsey (Jack) McDonnell, Elizabeth (Geoff) Cordes; great grandchildren, Thomas, Allyson, Mallory, MacKenzie, Nathan, Emily, Kaytlin, Lily, Logan, Emilia, Reese, Deagan and; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Janice Ljiljak; siblings, Jim, Tom, Doug, Bob, Ronnie Anderson, Maisie Taylor and Alice Casselman. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
