Lillian Maxine DAKE

DAKE, Lillian Maxine - Age 84, of Burton, passed away October 1, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society or Genesee County Humane Society. Lillian was born September 27, 1927 in Gaines Twp., the daughter of Darwin and Alice (Kemp) Burton. She retired from Genesee Tool and Engineering in 1984. Mrs. Dake was a member of the American Business Women and Swartz Creek United Methodist Church. Surviving are: daughter Glenda (Robert) McCormick; son, David (Phyllis) Dake; grandchildren, Robert Harms, Bryan Dake, Rebecca Dake, Jennifer Boutte, Robert McCormick, Katie Allan; great-granddaughter, Izabella; brothers, Donald (Dorothy) Burton, Charles (Dorlee) Burton.
