Lillian Mae BAIN

BAIN, Lillian Mae age 89, of Lennon, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Services will be 1:30PM Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. The Family will receive friends 11am Saturday until time of service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Lillian was born February 8, 1919 in Detroit, the daughter of the late Edward and Hilda (Pegler) Zimmerman. She married James Bain July 12, 1947 in Detroit. Lillian enjoyed oil painting and baking. She loved being at home and spending time with her family. Lillian worked at Saginaw Steering Gear and for Timmians as an Executive Secretary. She was a member and President of the Ladies Auxillary V.F.W. Post 3720 in Swartz Creek for many years. Lillian leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 61 years, James Bain of Lennon; 2 daughters Bonnie (Rick) Amburgey of IN, Gayle (Chris) Tassone of Traverse City.
