WEBBER, Lida E. Â Age 89, of Flint, died Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Durand Convalescent Center. Services will be held 11 AM Monday, August 2, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Bishop Carl Pangerl officiating. Interment will be held at St. Paul Cemetery, Owosso. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 5-8 PM Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of ones choice. Mrs. Webber was born September 14, 1914 in Charleroi, PA, the daughter of Paul and Pauline (Lois) Balazovic. She has resided in the Flint area most of her life. She retired from AC Spark Plug in 1981 after 36 years of service. She was a member of UAW Local 651. She loved cooking and baking for friends and family. She also loved to attend the Polish dances in the area. Mrs. Webber is survived by: son, Paul R. Webber and wife, Millie of Swartz Creek; four grandchildren, Mikael Rose of Grand Rapids, Paula (James) Strauel of Swartz Creek, Paul (Patty) Webber of Flint, Ryan Webber of Flint; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Polsgrove of Flint; five nieces, Lois Bunker of Fenton, Donna Morrison of NY, Linda Harris of NY, Janet Vincent of Port Huron, Nancy Busch of Owosso; step-sister, Theresa Spleany of Durand; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Webber was preceded in death by: her parents, Paul and Pauline Balazovic; step-father, John Hanzlovic; sister, Frances Kosuboski; daughter-in-law, Shirley Webber; brother-in-law, Herbert Polsgrove; nephew, Rodney Polsgrove. The family would like to thank the Durand Convalescent Center for their caring and kindness during Mrs. Webbers short illness.
