DAVIS, Mr. Leslie K. - Age 91, of Swartz Creek, died Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek, with Pastor Lawrence Gill officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Owosso. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Avalon Hospice. Mr. Davis was born March 27, 1921 in Marion, the son of Silas Lew and Lidy Jane (Wing) Davis. He married Anna Brendahl October 27, 1954 and she preceded him in death in 1983. He retired in 1981 from AC Spark Plug after 30 years of service. Mr. Davis was a member of U.A.W. Local 651 and Swartz Creek Church of the Nazarene. Surviving are: son, Steven Davis of Swartz Creek; daughter, Sherry Zaniski of Virginia; and daughter-in-law, Kay and husband Roy Yax of Swartz Creek; several grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
