August 13, 1931 — May 3, 2020

Scott, Leslie Duane - Age 88, of Fenton, died Sunday, May 3, 2020, son of Leslie Earl Scott and Mildred (Starr) Scott. A funeral service, due to Covid-19, was held for immediate family only at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 with Rev. Dr. Tara Sutton of Halsey United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was held at Flushing Cemetery. Mr. Scott was born August 13, 1931 in Flint and married Mary Lou (Langdon) Scott in 1949. He lived in Flint and the Fenton area for the past 46 years. He graduated from Central High School in 1949. He started his career at Buick Motor Division as an apprentice electrician. Going to college part-time he earned his Associates degree from Mott Community College, where he later returned to a part-time teaching position for the college. At Buick, he became a "Test Engineer" later retiring from the GM B-O-C Division at the GM Proving Grounds. Surviving are: three children, Michael (Nancy) Scott pf St. Louis, MO, Leslie Andrew (Penny) Scott of Nashua, NH, Susan (Mohamad) Amlani of Lake Fenton; six grandchildren, Karen and Michael of St. Louis, MO, Evan of Novi, Alikhan, Adam and Karima of Lake Fenton; four great-grandchildren, Kaillyn, Madison, Kennedy and Quinn.
