Leroy William Vanover recently and quickly left his family to be with the lord 10/11/2014. He leaves behind wife Teresa Vanover; Sons Eric Kerry, Ricky (Corie) Kerry, Jason (Toni) Vanover; Grandchildren Carrie Griffus, Nicole Russell, Shane Kerry, Trenton Kerry, Alison Kerry, and Helena Vanover; many brothers and sisters, many nephews and neices, and many long time friends. Following in death from his brother Rodger Vanover; and sisters Caroline Rou, Linda Vanover and Cindy Vanover. Leroy was born September 2nd 1957 to Joann (Mominy) Vanover and Raymond Vanover in Detroit, Michigan which explains his complete faithfulness to the Detroit Tigers. He met Teresa A. Kerry in 1975 in Flint, MI. They married and started a family in 1977 with the oldest son Eric, 1979 with Ricky, and in 1984 with Jason. Sense then he has met many people and made many friends. A favorite past time of his would have been the love he had for fishing that his sons also have inherited. A professional painter for 25 years, Leroy also was an avid guitar player, artist, grease monkey (loves working on vehicles), and very talented at making shadowboxes out of matchsticks upon many other talents. If Leroy were alive today he would be overwhelmed with exactly how effected everyone is by his passing. He would not want us to wallow in tears by his death because he would want us to just remember and celebrate the times we have shared with him on this earth. In times like these you realize the impact family and friends have on each other and see exactly how important it is to cherish them people while they are here because no one is ever sure how long they have in this world. We love you Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother, Uncle and Friend.
