INGRAM, LeRoy W. - age 78, of Swartz Creek, died Monday, September 3, 2012. Services will be held 1 PM Friday, September 7, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society. Mr. Ingram was born February 6, 1934 in Flint, the son of LeRoy and Hazel (Miller) Ingram. He married Beverly J. Cook on July 2, 1951 in Ionia, MI. Mr. Ingram retired from General Motors SPO after 37 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Beverly of Swartz Creek; six children, Leslie (Debra) Ingram of Durand, LeRoy (Janice) Ingram III of Gladwin, Lawrence (Jo) Ingram of Flint, Leonard Ingram of FL, Patricia (Daniel) Milligan of Wyoming, MI, Loren (Saundra) Ingram of Swartz Creek; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; two sisters, Vivian Carpenter of CA, Dorothy Phillips of FL. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pamela; sister, Betty. The family wished to extend a special thank you to the staff of Caretel Inns of Linden.
