HELMS, Leroy - Age 85, of Burton, died December 22, 2015. Services will be held 2 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, followed by a Masonic memorial service. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Morningstar Lodge #556 F.&A.M. Leroy was born August 19, 1930 in Tyronza, Arkansas, the son of Alvie Clayton and Lou Ella (Walling) Helms. He retired from General Motors after 42 years of service. Mr. Helms was a member of Morningstar Lodge #556 F.&A.M. He is survived by his niece, Ovon (Cecil) Bailey; granddaughter, Amantha Helms; grandson, Jordan Helms; great-grandchildren, Adryanna Helms and Wyatt Smith; several nieces and nephews.
