Leonard Yado ORTIZ

ORTIZ, Leonard Yado - Age 53, of Flint, died Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Monday, November 30, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 1-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Leonard Yado Memorial Fund. Leonard was born July 14, 1956 in Flint, the son of Ernest and Emma (Yado) Ortiz. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was known as the barefoot softball player and he loved playing the guitar. Surviving are: wife, Martha; 3 brothers, Jesse, Ernest and Oscar Ortiz; sister, Tina Castillo; special aunt, Mary Alonzo; close cousins, Francis and Lisa Ortiz; many other family and friends; He was preceded in death by his parents and cousin, Edward Ortiz.
