MIELEWSKI, Leonard E. "Moose" -- Age 89, of Swartz Creek, died March 9, 2015. Arrangements under the direction of Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. No public services will be held. Leonard was born October 26, 1925 in Detroit. He married Shirley Madarasz in Flint on February 21, 1948. Leonard was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in WWII. He retired from Michigan Bell Telephone. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and playing cards. Leonard was a boxer in the Navy. Surviving are: wife, Shirley; children, Pamela Hulber (Jack) of Burton, Lynn Luke ( Don Lindsey) of Swartz Creek; 3 grandchildren, Vincent (Stacey) Hulber, Jennifer (Robert) Burchell, Jessica (Michael) Mackert; 5 great grandchildren, Brianna Hulber, Ivy Burchell, Iris Burchell, Jordan Mackert, Gibson Mackert.
