KLOSTERMAN, Leonard C. Â Age 90, of Fenton, died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Avalon Hospice. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, May 1, 2006 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St. with Rev. Fr. David Harvey and Fr. Leo Klosterman con-celebrants. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Sunday evening. Mr. Klosterman was born September 2, 1915 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the son of George Lewis and Beatrice Marie (Janisse) Klosterman. He was a 1937 graduate of Assumption College in Windsor. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Air Force where he retired as a Lt. Col. Mr. Klosterman married Florence Josephine Nichols on July 14, 1945 in Mt. Clemens and she preceded him in death on September 27, 2004 after 59 years of marriage. Mr. Klosterman was a self-employed accountant for many years and served as the Flushing Township Treasurer for 27 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Flushing VFW and many classic and antique car clubs. Mr. Klosterman raised spruce trees, which he donated to many community projects throughout Flushing. Surviving are: son, Robert (Jan) of CA; four daughters, Barbara (John) Manney of Dexter, Mary Gleason (George Goodman) of Flushing, Carole (Michael) Breslin of New Hudson, Patricia (Jack) Terranova of Seattle; 15 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph of FL; Fr. Leo of Windsor; sister, Margaret of MO. He was also preceded in death by: Â his parents; two brothers, Lawrence and George.
