FISHER, Leonard Paul  Age 84, of Flint Twp., died April 16, 2004 at Riverbend. Services will be held 1:00 pm. Monday, April 19, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Rev. Michael McCluskey officiating. Interment will be held at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be from 1 9 pm today, 12 noon to 9 pm Sunday, and 11 am Monday until service time at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Leonard P. Fisher Memorial Fund. Mr. Fisher was born September 30, 1919 in Vanderbilt, MI, the son of Paul and Eleanor (Laguire) Fisher. He married Doris E. Greene on July 20, 1946 in Flint. Mr. Fisher retired from Chevrolet Manufacturing in 1981, after 36 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army where he earned a Bronze Star. Mr. Fisher enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, puzzles, chess, playing the harmonica and yodeling.  Surviving are: wife, Doris of Flint; two daughters, Rhoda Jean Smith, Dawn Louise Gerics and husband, Steve, all of Flint; two grandchildren, Mindy and Aerik McIntosh, both of Flint; several other step grandchildren and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents; two sisters, Alberta Tinkle and Hazel Helen McMullen.
