Leona G. Hennessy

HENNESSY, Leona G.  Age 91, of Flint, died Monday, November 29, 2004 at Heritage Manor Health Care. Cremation has taken place and private family services were held. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, Hospice of Okeechobee, FL or the charity of ones choice. Mrs. Hennessy was born in Manistee, MI on December 7, 1912 and lived in Flint most of her life. She retired from IMA as a storekeeper working in Buick, Chevrolet and AC plants. Surviving are: four sons, Leonard J. of Okeechobee, FL, William C., Jr., Frank E., both of Burton, Thomas (Mary Kay) of Boyne City, MI; daughter, Virginia (Norm) Sullivan of Flint; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her husband, William C. Hennessy, Sr. in 1991. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Heritage Manor.
