Leo Strominger

STROMINGER, Leo Edward- Age 82, of Fenton, died Thursday, October 8, 2015. Funeral mass will be celebrated 3 PM Monday, October 12, 2015 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrant. Visitation will be held 3-5 and 7-9 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton where a scripture service will be held at 8 PM. Visitation will also be held 2 PM - 3 PM Monday at the church. Leo was born August 16, 1933 in Lima, Ohio, the son of Andrew and Ruth (Wahler) Strominger. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Leo is survived by his wife of 59 years, Donna; children, Kevin (Rose) Strominger of Grand Blanc, Susan (Peter) Nemeckay of Warren, Karen Strominger of Fenton, Alan (Anne) Strominger of South Lyon, David (Deb) Strominger of Fenton; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Patricia (Joseph) Tribolet of Toledo, Dan (Patricia) Strominger of Columbus, OH, Elizabeth (Jerry) Axe of Toledo, OH, Lawrence (Adriana) Strominger of FL, Sharon (Dennis) Gutman of Toledo, OH.
