February 27, 1933 — January 20, 2005

DRAHEIM, Leo Edward  Age 71, of Durand and Homosassa, FL, died Thursday January 20, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday January 24, 2005 at Grace Lutheran Church, 2526 Corunna Road, Flint.  Pastor Walter J. Oelhafen officiating.  Burial in Bendle Cemetery, Clayton Township.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes; 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek from 5-9 PM Saturday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Sunday, and at the church from 10 AM until time of service Monday.  In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Grace Lutheran Church.  Mr. Draheim was born February 27, 1933 in Flint, the son of Herbert T. and Sylvia May (Peterson) Draheim.  He was a graduate of Flint Central High School and a veteran of U.S. Army.  He married Sharon Marie Horton September 17, 1955 in Flint.  He retired from General Motors Corporation in 1990 with 38 years of service.  He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and attended St. Paul Lutheran Church, Beverly Hills FL; he also was a member of Sugar Mill Woods Choral, Flint Male Chorus.  Surviving are:  wife, Sharon Marie; 3 children, Cynthia Adair and husband Lawrence Le Beau of Flushing, Pamela Marie and husband Todd OConnor of California, Bradley E. and wife Carleen Draheim of Swartz Creek; 6 grandchildren, Brooke, Marcus, Jolene, Kari, Ashley, Joseph; 3 brothers, Theodore and wife Donna of Indian River, Robert and wife Juanita of New Port Richey, FL, Herbert and wife Janeen of Flint; many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Friends may share an online condolence or post a tribute for the family at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
