Lenora Nancy Walters

WALTERS, Lenora Nancy  Age 89, of Owosso, formerly of Flint, died Monday, April 19, 2004 at her residence. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, April 23, 2004 at New Community Church of God, 3472 Lennon Rd., Flint with Pastor Jim Day officiating. Interment will be held at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to New Community Church of God. Mrs. Walters was born August 27, 1914 in Chillicothe, OH. She married Ernest Walters on March 26, 1934 and he preceded her in death on September 19, 2002. Mrs. Walters worked as a cashier at the Secretary of State for 18 years. Surviving are: three grandchildren, Barry Walters and wife, Tricia, Brent Walters, Brad Walters and wife, Rene, all of Owosso; four great-grandchildren, Tavis, Morgan, Madelyn and Marshall Walters; daughter-in-law, Carol Bambach of Owosso.
