Lena Mae Steele

STEELE, Lena Mae  Age 86, of Davison, died Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Hurley Medical Center. Services will be held 1 PM Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, with Pastor Andy Auclair officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 & 6-9 PM Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Kearsley Eastside Senior Center. Lena was born January 20, 1917 in Mundy Twp., the daughter of John and Elvia (Conley) Burgess. Surviving are: children, Linda and husband Stephen Miller of Flint, Judith Neeley of Flint, Rolland and wife Shelly Steele of Belleville; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Charlene Steele of Burton; sister-in-law, Margaret Burgess of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Steele was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Steele; son, Gaylord Steele; brothers, Earl and Ben Burgess.
