Leland Leroy LaROCK Jr.

LaROCK, LeLand LeRoy Jr.- Age 49, of Gladwin, formerly of Flint passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11AM Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Leland was born October 4, 1959 in Flint, MI, the son of Leland Leroy Sr. and Carol (Beech) LaRock. He had been self-employed as a carpenter and loved rodeos, boxing and guitar music. Mr. LaRock had been a Golden Gloves Boxer out of Beirston Field House in Flint. Surviving are: 4 children, Beverly Taylor, Amanda LaRock, Rhonda Thoune, Chad Thoune; 20 grandchildren; 4 stepchildren, Ricky, James, T.J. and Chris; half sister, Julie; brothers, Steve and Jeff; stepbrother, George; stepmother, Mary LaRock.
