KRUPA, Leeard Virginia - Age 98, of Fenton, died Wednesday, May 1, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St, Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Monday, May 13, 2019 from 4-8 PM, where a vigil service will be held at 7 PM, and at church Tuesday May 14, 2109 from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to St. John Outreach. Mrs. Krupa was born April 12, 1921 in Pontiac, the daughter of Jerry and Rose (VanFleet) Light. She was a 1939 graduate of Flint Central High School. She married Edward Harry Krupa August 5, 1950 at St. Matthew Catholic Church in Flint and he preceded her in death March 18, 1999. She had resided in Fenton since 1972 coming from Flint. Mrs. Krupa had worked for AC Spark Plug for 13 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where she was involved in the CCW and Altar Society. She also was a member Women of the Moose, life member and president of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority, member of Shore Acres (Fenton Farms) Thursday Ladies Golf League, A Director of the Lake Fenton Property Owners Association, Greenbush Historical Society, AARP, Concerned Women of American, and Genesee Valley Tennis Club. She enjoyed tennis, golf, skiing, bowling, roller skating, and had a Teddy Bear collection (she would talk on how the teddy bear got started). Surviving are: son, Edward Krupa, Jr. (Jeannie) of Fenton Township; daughter, Leeard Medor (Michael) of Fenton Township; grandchildren, Michelle Rivera (Joe) of California, Nicole Covault (Dane) of Grand Blanc, Kai Krupa (Alana King) of California, Kreg Krupa (Katie) of Traverse City, and Keaton Krupa of Grand Rapids; great grandchildren, Quinn Rivera, Valor Krupa, and Irie Covault; and nieces and nephews.
