Lee Wolverton

WOLVERTON, Lee Lawrence - Age 58, of Linden, died September 3, 2016. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Thursday September 8 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Interment in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. A luncheon will be held following the burial at Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad Street, Linden. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 2 PM and 4-8 PM Tuesday and Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Lee was born July 26, 1958 in Flint, the son of Larry and Margaret (Eder) Wolverton. He was a 1977 graduate of Linden High School. He was inducted into the Linden Sports Hall of Fame for Track and Field. His state records still stand. He was married to Patricia Emans on October 17, 1980 in Fenton; she preceded him in death December 15, 2000. Lee had worked for Mt. Clemens Crane for 15 years, and was most recently working for Whiting Crane. He was a devoted father and friend. Surviving are: three daughters, Tabitha (Anthony) Ramberg, Taunya (Sean) Hiler, Tammy Wolverton (fianc, Derek Cheeseman) all of Linden; grandchildren, Dillon and Peyton Ramberg, and Lillian Hiler; father, Larry Wolverton; girlfriend, Tracie Sharp and her children, Nikki, Amber, and Mark Frasier; three siblings, Mark (Gladys) Wolverton, Sheri (John) Chagnon, Craig Wolverton; uncle Daniel Eter of Fenton; several nieces and nephews.
