MITCHELL, Lee Herbert, Sr. -- Age 63, of Davison, died January 9, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 4:00 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Lee H. Mitchell, Sr. Memorial Fund. Lee was born February 20, 1948 in Palo Alto, CA, the son of Herbert and Katherine (King) Mitchell. He had resided in the Flint area most of his life. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and boating. Surviving are: 3 children, Kim Mitchell of Flint, Lee H. Mitchell, Jr. of Burton and Jennifer and husband Joshua Beam of Davison; 6 grandchildren, Jeffrey, Courtney, Cody, Damion, Holley and Chantel; 2 great grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn and Riley; brother, Bud Mitchell of Alaska; sister, Anne Sink of Illinois; several nephews.
