Lawrence Sugden, Jr.

SUGDEN, Jr., Lawrence Kenneth - Age 74, of Linden, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St, Linden. Pastor Mark Cox officiating. Burial immediately following at Byron Cemetery, Byron. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 PM and Wednesday from 11 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society. Lawrence was born August 14, 1944 in Flint, the son of Lawrence K. Sr. and Beverly (Seaman) Sugden. He married Linda Mae Allen April 17, 1965 in Linden. He had resided in the Linden area his entire life. Lawrence retired in 1999 from Buick after 36 years of service. He was a licensed pilot, and enjoyed fishing and boating. He loved his family, especially his grandson, Garrett. Surviving are: his wife of 53 years, Linda; daughters, Lisa Myrick of Linden and LeeAnn Sugden of Linden; he was Papa to Garrett; brother, Loren Sugden of Swartz Creek; sister, Laurie (Dave) Hurt of Swartz Creek; brother-in law, Rex (Karen) Allen of Ohio; nieces and nephews; and his four legged companions, Maggie and Jack.
