SCHROEDER, Lawrence "Larry" Ralph - Age 88, of Flint, died Thursday January 7, 2021. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Lawrence was born February 3, 1932 in Flint, the son of Burton and Emma (Dunkel) Schroeder. He married Deanna Rayner in Goodrich on June 21. 1973. Lawrence proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Larry retired from General Motors, A.C. Spark Plug Division with 35 years of service. He enjoyed yard work, golfing and spending time with his grandson Zack. Surviving are: wife, Deanna Schroeder of Flint; children, Gerald (Beth) Schroeder of Bay City, Joanne (Mark) Witucki of Metamora, Brenda Hickok of Flint; grandson, Zack (Amanda) Warson of Howell; great granddaughters, Rylee and Teagen Warson. He was also survived by his brother Ralph (Fran) Schroeder; sister, Betty Wojtowicz; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Burton and Emma Schroeder; daughter, Barbara Barrett; son, Andrew Schroeder; siblings, Paul Schroeder, Russ Schroeder, Roy Schroeder, Ruth Grill, Anna Schuster and Bob Schroeder.
